Torres del Paine is a National Park in Chile, only 5 hours away from El Calafate.
To visit the park, you have different options:
Full day tour to Torres del Paine
It is both a tour and regular bus straight from El Calafate to Torres del Paine, avoiding a stop in Puerto Natales.
The tour starts at 5.30am and finishes at 10pm (pick up and drop off at the Hostel).
In this trip you will be taken to the Torres del Paine National Park and you will visit the main points with the same bus. You will make a short trek to the Salto Grande (a very nice waterfall) if the weather allows you to. The three stops are at: Administración, Laguna Amarga and Pudeto, you will be able to see the wonderful towers, horns and the different lakes, and to take amazing pictures!
This is also a great option for guests going to Torres del Paine to do any of the treks, that wish to avoid stopping at Puerto Natales. You can opt to use this as a means of transportation, and by paying extra, you can also organize the return ticket to El Calafate for a different date.
Drop off at Laguna Amarga 12pm / Guardería Pudeto 1pm / Administración 2pm
Pick up at Laguna Amarga 4pm
The trip includes an English speaking guide and a full lunch.
